WHERE IS YOUR FARM LOCATED?
Petal & Pine Farm can be found nestled along the banks of the Tuckahoe River in Corbin City, NJ-Just minutes from Historic Downtown Tuckahoe. You’ll also find that we’re conveniently located on your way to Shore Points such as Ocean City, Sea Isle City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, & Cape May
WHAT IS THE SIZE OF YOUR FARM?
We are blessed to have approximately 25 acres available to farm. We currently have about 2.5 acres of that in flower production, with an additional 15 acres are being used to grow our family’s other crops, such as Christmas trees, pumpkins, gourds, corn, sweet potatoes, and beets. The remainder of our land is planted in cover crops that are beneficial to the abundant wildlife living in our area.
IS YOUR FARM OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?
Visitors are encouraged to visit the small farm stand located at the end of our driveway to pickup custom orders and purchase produce. The remainder of the farm is closed to the public for privacy reasons. Thank you in advance for understanding.
DO YOU HAVE A STORE FRONT?
Petal & Pine does not have a physical store front at this time. We grow and design all of our farm fresh bouquets right on the farm. All of shares and orders can be picked up at the farm stand at the end of our driveway or at the predetermined CSA Share pickup location.
DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY OR SHIPMENT OF YOUR FLOWERS?
We do not currently offer delivery or shipping. All of our farm fresh bouquets should be picked up from the farm stand at the end of our driveway or at our predetermined CSA pickup location.
Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Yes! What a wonderful gift idea! We offer gift certificates right in our shop.
I’M INTERESTED IN LEARNING ABOUT FLOWER FARMING AND/OR DESIGNING. WILL YOU BE HOSTING ANY ON-FARM WORKSHOPS?
We are not currently offering any workshops on the farm- but we do hope to do so in the future. In the meantime, my friend Briana at Blossom & Branch offers a variety of different virtual courses that you can sign up for. I continue to look up to and learn from her each and every day.

All of the photos located on our website or social media were taken by me – unless otherwise notated. Our family photos were taken by the very talented Amanda Erickson Design.
CAN WE HAVE OUR PHOTO SESSION AT YOUR FARM?
Due to the fact that most of our property is protected by electric fences, we limit our photo sessions to my own photo clients at Resa Workman Photography or those working with Amanda Erickson Design or Danielle Salerno Photography. These photo sessions are planned in advance. If you are interested, please use the contact form on our website to reach us.

FLOWER CSA FAQs
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. A flower CSA works the same way as popular vegetable CSAs. A member typically joins in the winter/early spring before the growing season starts. Their payment helps our farm buy seeds and other supplies for the year. In return for their investment, members receive a weekly bouquet of organically grown flowers.
When can I purchase a CSA subscription?
Our 2021 Shares will be available for purchase starting on April 1st and will run until the official opening day of each particular subscription. We are only offering a limited number of shares for the 2021 season- so it is possible that they may sell out prior to opening day.
When should I sign up for the CSA subscription?
If you know you’ll be wanting a Petal & Pine Farm flower subscription, your early commitment will be greatly appreciated. Your early-enrollment helps us have the cash flow to make those purchases with confidence and to know how much we need to grow to supply our members with beautiful flowers all season long.
Are your subscriptions limited?
Yes. There are a limited number of shares offered this season. We plan to offer two 6 week shares as well as a full 12 week share options.
How are the bouquets packaged?
Our bouquets consist of one lovely hand-tied bouquet presented to you in a hand-stamped eco-friendly brown paper wrap.
Are these delivered to my home?
We do not currently offer delivery. All CSA Shares should be picked up at farm stand here at the farm or at the pre-determined local pickup location.
What happens if I am out of town during a bouquet pick-up?
If you are not able to pick up your share within the scheduled pickup time- or- if you’d like a friend or family member to pick up for you, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance. All shares not picked up within 24 hours of the scheduled time, it will be donated to a local nursing home.
Can I order another 6-week subscription after my first 6 week subscription?
Absolutely! We’d love to keep sharing our flowers with you if we have shares to spare!
Can I cancel my subscription?
We do not accept cancellations but do allow you to transfer ownership of the share to another person.
How do I care for my bouquet?
- Start with a clean vessel. I sanitize mine with a splash of bleach and a good scrub and then rinse it out well.
- Fill vessel 1/3 of the way with fresh water.
- Snip the ends of your flowers at an angle with a sharp pair of scissors or pruners.
- Remove any foliage that would come into contact with the water inside of your vessel to help avoid bacteria growth.
- Change the water in the vase every other day and give the stems a fresh snip. Bacteria clogs the stems of the flower and causes them fade more quickly. Fresh, clean water and a fresh cut on the ends will help the flowers continue to be able to drink and last longer!
- Do not place in direct sunlight.
- Some blooms naturally last longer than others. As individual blooms fade, pull those blooms out of the vessel and re-fluff your bouquet.
How long do the flowers typically last?
We have found that our most of our bouquets last for 1-2 weeks depending on the varieties included. Some flowers such as dahlias are expected to last about a week, while others like zinnias and carnations can continue to thrive for several weeks.
Do you offer any other flowers outside of your subscriptions? If so where can I purchase your flowers?
Yes, during our growing season, (July – mid October) we will offer a farm fresh bouquet option that can be purchased right in our online shop. This bouquet will contain the best of the best growing on our farm at the time of purchase. Any custom requests will be considered but not guaranteed.
**The CSA fine print**
As a Weekly bouquet subscription CSA holder, you are considered an investor in the farm. As we are subject to Mother Nature, there may be weather events beyond our control such as hail that affect our crop yield and production. In the case of a crop loss, no refunds will be given.
